Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
The capacity to change the world involves the development of lifelong skills that extend beyond basic reading and writing. World-changers are collaborative critical thinkers who are able to problem solve using creative strategies. At Abraham Lincoln School, it is our goal to foster a learning environment in which these attributes flourish among all students. Our staff is committed to cultivating an atmosphere where students’ ideas help to guide learning in the classroom. Our students are encouraged to formulate new approaches to problem solving and are expected to articulate their reasoning. As I walk through classrooms and speak to students outside, I am confident that we are developing a group of people who will become world- changers in the future. Our students are experiencing the joy of discovering new ideas, thereby developing a love for learning. Through our partnerships, our students will be equipped to meet the California Common Core Standards and continue our longstanding tradition of academic excellence!
